Where do profits from Fitness 4 All go? Profits from Fitness 4 All go directly to Sport & Recreation Services (a service of The Disability Trust) to assist in developing sport and recreation programs for people with a disability.
Are there any joining fees with Fitness 4 All? There are NO joining fees with Fitness 4 All. Although many other gyms / fitness organisations charge up to $20 - $100, Fitness 4 All does not charge any extra membership fees to join it's programs!
What does a Training session Involve? There is currently two types of training that you can choose from: Personal Training or Group Training.
Personal Training is working 1 on 1 with one of Fitness 4 All's experienced and qualified Trainers. With Personal Training, you choose where you would like to conduct the sessions, and we come to you.
Group Training involves exercise sessions conducted at one of Fitness 4 All's weekly training locations. Group Training is held with a number of other participants.
What types of exercise training do we do? Training sessions are tailored towards the needs of each participant. For example we aim to assist participants to achieve their goals of weight loss, improved fitness, strengthening muscles, improved co-ordination etc.
Activities that are conducted during sessions include:
Fitness testing – upon commencement with Fitness 4 All and ongoing through out your time with the service.
Training drills -
Abdominal / core strength,
Lower limb strength,
Upper body strength,
Boxing,
Skipping,
Steps etc.
How long is a training session? All Fitness 4 All sessions run for 1 hour
Can I get health rebates? Medicare / health fund rebates are available for those who obtain care plans from their GP’s. Check with your health care provider or GP to see if you are eligible.
What do we do in the event of wet weather? Fitness 4 All has a fully accessible Gym located at Fairy Meadow. Depending on bookings, this facility can be used.
What do I bring to training? Comfortable / appropriate joggers, water bottle, hat, sweat towel, jumper for colder days.
Where do Fitness 4 All train? Fitness 4 All conducts group training at Towradgi, Fairy Meadow, Austinmer and at our Gym. Personal Training is a held at a venue that suits the individual.
